We are looking for a candidate who has experience working in an accounts-based practice and is passionate about providing high quality value-add service to the firm’s clients. The role offers a clear route of progression and is ideal for a candidate with ambition who wishes to accelerate their career within a dynamic accounts team.

To be considered you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience in providing accounting services.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Working with experienced accounts managers to ensure that client engagements are seen through to completion within the set timetable.
  • Be a key point of contact for clients and develop your relationships with them to provide the best service possible
  • Take responsibility for the progression of work, and the ultimate outcome, handle any issues which may arise while being aware of when they may need escalating to others in the team.
  • Develop relationships with clients, and with other business contacts in order to maintain a professional network, which may include attending networking events.
  • Supervise, coach and develop other members of staff by providing constructive feedback & on the job coaching
  • Assist with the effective management of teams, ensure responsibilities are shared, and tasks are being delegated appropriately, in order to develop and train more junior members of staff and to maximise their performance. This will also come through sharing experiences, and imparting knowledge.
  • Help to connect our clients with other colleagues across our business where appropriate, (e.g Corporate Finance/ Corporate and Personal Tax/payroll etc)
