We are looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our Hull office.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of our Personal Tax Department, working with a wide range of clients and leading a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Tax Seniors and Trainees, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact
- Prepare and review self-assessment and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates
- Oversee the personal tax return process across the client base
- Take responsibility for complex compliance cases within your portfolio
- Handle HMRC enquiries and compliance checks
- Identify and act on tax planning opportunities for clients
- Provide advisory support, tax planning and technical guidance
- Contribute to planning projects and conduct technical research
- Manage tax billing processes, including monthly WIP reviews
Qualification/Experience:
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in a tax-focused role or similar professional environment. CTA qualification (or equivalent) is preferred. You will have strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, and a client-focused approach.
