John joined the firm in November 2023.
John manages all aspects of the Smailes Goldie IT. Unlike many IT managers he has also done a lot of programming and development in his time.
John loves technology. If you start a conversation with him about things such as artificial intelligence, you might wish you hadn’t. So he is certainly in a role that is perfect for him and often says it doesn’t feel like work.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family, his labrador called Nova and his horse called Lad (a cob of fourteen hands for those in the know). He loves his gadgets and spends a lot of his time taken up with that. He is currently re-learning how to play the piano.
