Zak is responsible for preparing the financial accounts for small clients and taking them to the review stage, as well as preparing client VAT returns from scratch with MTD Spreadsheets and QuickBooks or if they choose to do their own VAT, I review the client’s VAT before sending it for review to a manager. In addition, I oversee various company secretarial related things such as confirmation statements and changes in shares. Furthermore, small parts of audit related work involving CaseWare.
Zak enjoys working with his colleagues and working with a wide variety of different clients and striving to meet their needs. The most rewarding part of his role is seeing a job through to the end and the client satisfaction that comes with that. Zak enjoys learning new things about both accounts and audit and he finds that general practice provides him with plenty of learning opportunities with a very supportive team.
Zak enjoys working out at the gym, playing video games and reading books/digital novels. He also loves spending time with friends and family.
