Hull-based accountancy and business advice firm, Smailes Goldie Group, has raised more than £3,000 for the Hey Smile Foundation at its annual quiz night for clients and contacts. The Hey Smile Foundation works with charities and community groups across the region, providing practical and funding support for the work they carry out with local people.
A total of 20 teams representing Humberside businesses took part in the quiz at The Country Park Inn. In a tightly contested event, the team from Nippon Goshei won the quiz, with Rollits coming in second and PPH Commercial coming in third.
Mark Sharpley, Partner at Smailes Goldie Group, said “We like to support the local charities, so it was great to be able to raise so much money for the Hey Smile Foundation whilst also having a fun night.
It was brilliant to see that so many of our clients and contacts are just as keen to help as we are.
We are grateful to everyone who attended for their generosity”
Smailes Goldie Group regularly holds events in support of the Hey Smile Foundation for its clients and contacts.
