Andrew Robinson is a Partner at Smailes Goldie, having rejoined the firm in 2026 following several years based in London.
He trained and qualified at Smailes Goldie after graduating with a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield. Andrew subsequently relocated to London to gain further professional and life experience, working within the business advisory team of a top 15 national firm of tax advisers and accountants, where he advised businesses operating in a diverse range of industries.
A general practice Chartered Accountant, Andrew has over a decade of experience advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, listed companies, international groups, not-for-profit organisations and private equity-backed businesses. He has developed strong technical expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP and supports clients across sectors including manufacturing, retail, professional practices, real estate, hotels and recruitment.
Andrew provides a full range of advisory and compliance services, including accounting, audit, corporate and personal tax, financial reporting and business strategy. He takes a rounded, pragmatic approach to tax planning, balancing commercial objectives with the needs of business owners to achieve the best overall outcome.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is a keen sports enthusiast and enjoys playing and watching sport, including golf.
