Jamie joined the firm in December 2017.
Jamie’s role involves helping clients make better and more informed management decisions by providing timely and accurate management accounts information tailored to individual client needs and by providing any accountancy support that clients may need. He also helps prepare clients’ year-end statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
Jamie loves the fact that his role is varied; He can be working on something new every day from a wide range of clients from a wide range of different industries. He also enjoys the problem-solving that comes with the role and hopefully, he can help clients with solutions. He also loves the fact that even after working almost twenty years in accounts he still learns new things at Smailes Goldie.
Jamie enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys Karate, painting miniatures, wargaming, and supporting West Ham United.
