John joined Moore Stephens in 2013 as an Accounts Senior and moved over with the acquisition to Smailes Goldie in April 2022.
John is responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements for small and medium sized entities. He also acts as the day-to-day manager of several accounts and audit jobs (both in commercial and not-for-profit sectors), liaising with his portfolio of clients to gain an understanding of their business needs and acting as their first point of contact when a query arises.
John says the most rewarding part of his job is dealing with a wide variety of clients who operate in many different sectors. He also gets great satisfaction when he sees a job through from start to finish, especially when we have added value to the client. He also enjoys learning new things within both accounts and audit spheres, and finds general practice provides the perfect opportunity to do this.
John loves spending time with his family, as well as reading and walking.
