Victoria Shannon is Partner, Agriculture and Landed Estates at Smailes Goldie.
Having joined Smailes Goldie in May 2013, Victoria was promoted to Manager around a year later in July 2014. Her previous experience included work at a Big Four firm, where she developed a specialism in landed estates and agriculture.
Over the course of more than 15 years in the profession, Victoria has worked with a range of rural businesses on matters including:
- Capital taxes planning including inheritance tax reviews and the reorganisation of business structures in order to maximise available reliefs
- Overseeing accounting and taxation matters for landed estates and agricultural clients
- Specialising particularly in trust accounts and taxation matters
Victoria holds the FCCA accountancy qualification and is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).
Away from the office, Victoria enjoys walking and travelling.
